about
This awareness campaign for Fondation des Femmes addresses gender-based and sexual violence through a restrained, conceptual approach. The visuals are intentionally neutral — black-and-white portraits, neutral gazes, and calm postures — avoiding both dramatization and overt emotional cues.
The violence and urgency of the issue emerge through the messages themselves, expressed with hand-drawn typography that conveys immediacy and intent. The project prioritizes communication over aesthetics, emphasizing the strength of the concept rather than traditional notions of “beauty.”
The campaign draws inspiration from feminist street collages, using repetition and bold slogans to create impact. By combining neutral imagery with striking messaging, the project highlights the seriousness of femicides while maintaining dignity, respect, and a clear conceptual focus.
